After 27 years, Bill, both homeowner and architect, chooses to downsize to lower-maintenance digs.

Our favorite—and most decadent rental item—is the Saarinen white pedestal dining table, one of 3 dining table options ordered. After seeing it in place, there is no need to even consider the other two. The curve of the table mimics (and accentuates) the curve of Bill’s existing modern chairs, and we just have to have it!

Bill’s Realtor sets expectations by letting us know in advance that the sale of a home of this caliber will likely take significantly longer than most. But after staging, this $995K home sells for just 6% below asking in less than 4 months—2 months faster than anticipated. An excellent price and days-on-market for this high-end home.
