When my client first contacted me, she wanted to update what she affectionately referred to as her “airplane bathroom.” Being petite myself, I knew that size should not be a limitation with this master bath update.
This Heritage Hills condo is larger than most, but has surprisingly small bathrooms, a design compromise that instead gives the home owner a uniquely large and open living space.
Master Bath After
The bathroom is only a few years old, but it’s builder grade. This client wants something more. Neutral white tub, wall tile, and medicine cabinet are retained. Everything else – lighting, toilet, tile floor, crown molding, wallpaper, vanity, and granite – is new and improved!
In addition to a partial makeover of the master bath, we also refresh the all-white guest bath with a bold paint color to coordinate with the new rug – our inspiration piece – and of course, new bathroom “jewelry” in the form of updated light and vanity fixtures.

Liking these results so much, the project expands. We paint the living/dining area, kitchen, and hall then add crown molding.
Currently, we are finishing the organization of both the laundry room and master bedroom closet.
All updates are made with resale in mind. So even though the home owner loves her new space, she wants to ensure that others will love it too, if and when she decides to sell. These updates also increase the resale value while she gets the look she loves.
Here’s what this home owner has to say about working with AtWell Staged Home after the bathrooms are completed:
Dear Susan – There are not enough words to say how much I love my new space. Thank you for your patience, guidance and good humor through it all.
